Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 2nd! The Nebraska Synod Assembly will come to an inspiring close worshiping together at 11 am CDT/10 am MDT. We’re thrilled to invite all congregations to participate. Join us as we worship together across the state… from Scottsbluff to McCook to Niobrara to Falls City!  Imagine a “Watch Party” in your church’s building or a delightful gathering with another local congregation or two or three in your mission cluster, or from a separate location. We are gathering together as God’s people on the Second Sunday after Pentecost this year, committing to Cultivate Love and to continue in our shared mission and ministry as the whole church in the state of Nebraska.

Now is the time to imagine and plan. This is a special worship opportunity, which also invites a special opportunity for a congregational or community lunch gathering worship. How about hosting a potluck following worship? Or a BBQ lunch for all to enjoy in your context?

More resources will be coming soon. Bulletins for the worship service will be made available to be printed ahead of time, and the links to the worship service and Assembly will be widely shared as well. An orientation video will be shared in the coming month to walk through any questions you might have. And if technology might still be an issue, alternate resources will be made available for your congregation too, which will include a pre-recorded sermon that can be played as a video, or a written manuscript that can be read aloud will be provided.

Stay Tuned for more to come about worship at Synod Assembly, but please plan now to be a part of this special gathering as we are the Nebraska Synod together.
