Pre-Assembly Workshop: Cultivating Love Through Stewardship

Topics that Stewardship Leaders Would Do Well to Consider Now in a Post-Pandemic World

A Nebraska Synod Assembly- Pre-Assembly Workshop Opportunity
Friday May 31, 2024, at South Younes Conference Center in Kearney, Nebraska
10:00am-4:00pm CT, Lunch Included
Registration Cost: $25 per person

Whether you have been working with stewardship ministry for decades or are just starting to wonder. Whether you feel like you have it all figured it out, or that it’s time for some new ideas and inspiration because everything seems like it has changed. This is a workshop for you.

We’ll ground ourselves in some basic things to consider and remember about Jesus’ call and invitation and what scripture has to say. Some of the topics will include:

• Connecting faith and finances.
• Telling the story of what is already happening in your congregation because of your congregation’s generosity.
• Saying thank you in at least five different ways.
• Connecting stewardship, vision, and mission, and helping imagine what might be possible and what God might be inviting.
• Making the budget more tangible.
• Remembering to make offering an act of worship, even if the plate seems almost empty.
• And more
