Bio
Lynne Walz was born in Fremont, NE, and graduated from Arlington Public High School. She is married to Chris, and they have three children: Adam, Patrick, and Emma, and seven grandchildren. Lynne attended Midland Lutheran College, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught at Bell Field in Fremont before becoming a Real Estate agent.
Lynne was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2016 and 2020 to represent Legislative District 15. She served on the Education Committee for 8 years, the Health and Human Services Committee for 6 years, and the Natural Resources Committee for 2 years. Lynne has been an active member in her community, serving on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Board and the Fremont Bergan School Board. She is an active member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle and has served on the Church Council, as a Youth Group leader, a Sunday School teacher, a Choir member, and a Vacation Bible School Leader. Lynne enjoys running, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
