Learning is a Lifelong Adventure

How many times have you said, “I would like to learn more churchy stuff”? And, that’s where the wondering stopped.  Yes, it’s easy to come up with excuses. Perhaps you’ve thought there’s no class available locally, you don’t have time for a semester long class, it costs too much or you might embarrass yourself. The Emmaus: Lifelong Learning Team recognizes the fact these are all valid excuses but we are not willing to leave it at that.

Emmaus: Lifelong Learning is a ministry of the Nebraska Synod targeting curious disciples eager to continue learning and forever mining treasures of their faith. Emmaus provides high-quality, well-grounded formation materials and lifelong learning opportunities which are well-coordinated and well-communicated through the single umbrella of Emmaus. Presenters are eager to engage with newcomers, lifelong Lutherans and congregational teams. All are welcome.

There’s room for a few more in the October-November “Generations Growing Together” course offered by Lisa Kramme. It’s for adults of all ages interested in engaging young people in the congregation and community. Learn More & Register Here
