Spiritual directors listen empathically for God’s movements in your life
Seeking the Spirit Within exists to help individuals enrich their prayer lives and deepen their spirituality. Its primary role has been to prepare certified spiritual directors for service around the state. It also introduces spiritual direction and a variety of spiritual practices to people through several events and experiences each year.
Rev. Mark Ekstrom describes his experience of spiritual direction as “one of the most satisfying experiences of his life.” Lisa Kramme speaks of the Seeking the Spirit Within retreat as “a great opportunity to learn more about the ministry of spiritual direction and to try a variety of spiritual practices through which one can listen to God.”
