The PMA Convocation is a deeply cherished gathering that allows certified PMAs and students to build meaningful connections, expand their knowledge in ministry practices, and rejuvenate spiritually.
“We will not hide them from their children; we will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord and his might, and the wonders that God has done.” – Psalm 78:4
Acts 8:26-39 (Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch)
Lisa Kramme’s high school history teacher once wrote in her yearbook, “Boy, are you VOCIFEROUS!” After looking up the word in the dictionary and finding out it means “talkative,” Lisa couldn’t have agreed more. She came by her storytelling naturally, as Lisa’s father was a storyteller through the Nebraska Humanities Speakers Bureau as well as an auctioneer, and her mom was a teacher. Lisa tells the fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen through the Speakers Bureau as her dad did, and through the years she discovered that she loves to listen to the stories of others just as much as she loves sharing her own. In 2022 Lisa completed a certification in Community Storytelling through The Hearth in Ashland, Oregon. She’s led community story sharing events through her congregation, Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont, Nebraska, and through various ministries of the Nebraska Synod, ELCA. Lisa is delighted that her grandchildren love stories as much as she does. She and her husband Keith raised two children and enjoy watching their children start their own households. Lisa currently serves as the Director for Campus Ministry and Spiritual Wellness at Midland University in Fremont and as a spiritual director.
