Audit Committee
Responsible for assisting the Synod Council in fulfilling its general oversight of the synod’s accounting, financial reporting, internal control systems, and external audit processes as provided in †S15.31.
Budget & Finance
Prepares and presents a comprehensive budget to the Synod Council, in consultation with the Bishop, for its consideration and presentation to the Synod Assembly.
Candidacy
Register, supervise, endorse, and approve candidates for ministry in accordance with provisions set by the ELCA.
Discipline
Members are available to work with the Bishop/Synod Council when there are issues involving disciplinary proceedings.
Nominating
Work with synod staff to secure nominees for Synod Assembly and Synod Council elections.
