Imagine Being Prepared for Disaster Response

These days, it seems there is always a news story about a new or ongoing disaster response somewhere in our country or the world. And we certainly know that Nebraska is not immune from severe weather or other hazards. What do faith communities need to know about preparing for and responding to disasters in the most helpful and faithful ways? Hosted by the Synod Disaster Team, this two-hour workshop will be full of stories from people who’ve been there, questions and scenarios to talk through with your colleagues, and lots of helpful information to take home.
