The life-long endeavor for sincere followers of The Way is a sustainable union with the infinite source of love we name: God.
Many find this ‘way’ to be filled with challenges and seemingly unattainable as we search for stability in an uncertain world. And yet the moment-to-moment invitation remains: to connect with Spirit who is ever-available to us!
As the old adage goes: “Religion is trusting in another person’s experience, Spirituality is entering into your own.” Both are true! And both include the individual and the collective. Jesus teaches that the living presence of God is “within and among you all” (Lk. 17:21).
As followers of The Way (Acts 19:23), we’ve been called to the path of the mystic. Mysticism is not an escape from various realities that are common to human experience, it is a radical engagement with life through cultivated and embodied practices of communion with God in three dimensions:
God the Infinite,
God the Intimate,
and God Inside-us.
Seeking the Spirit Within invites you into an interactive, life-giving, and rest-filled Lenten Retreat at Carol Joy Holling Camp March 20-22. We have extended the retreat to provide more space for conversation, various spiritual exercises, rest, and reflection!
We invite you to join with others as we seek the Spirit within.
Cost includes: Lodging, meals, and programs.
On-campus – $275 (highly recommended)
