Waterways is a six-week journey for lay people who want to go deeper into their baptismal vocation. Together we will explore the five baptismal promises and discover practical ways to live out our faith in daily life, wherever we go.

Format and Schedule

In-Person Option: Wayne

  • Location: Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Wayne
  • Day: Wednesdays
  • Time: 1:00–2:30 p.m.
  • Start Date: September 9
  • Duration: 6 weeks

Online Option: Zoom

  • Time: 7:00–8:30 p.m.
  • Day: Thursdays
  • Start Date: October 1
  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Details: A Zoom link will be provided to all registered participants.

Facilitator

Pastor Katie Gallagher, CaSTLE Project Director

With over 24 years of ordained ministry, Pastor Katie Gallagher brings deep experience in faith formation in small-town and rural ministry. She will engage participants and challenge them to see the mission of the Church through the lens of baptismal living, connecting our baptismal promises to everyday discipleship.

Waterways is designed for unrostered lay people of all generations who want to:

  • Better understand their baptismal vocation
  • Explore the five baptismal promises
  • Reflect on how faith shapes daily life at home, work, church, and in the community

All are welcome; no prior study or experience is required.
