Facilitator Name and Bio Information

Pr. Priscilla Hukki : Pr. Priscilla Hukki was called to Grace Lutheran Church in 2018 and in the spring of 2019 Trinity UMC/UCC asked if Grace might be interested in sharing a pastor. We all said yes and in October of 2019 became partners in ministry. Pr. Hukki was ordained in October 2004; and has served in PA, ND and ME before coming to NE She was raised in Maine, the youngest of 7 children; to parents who hailed from Virginia & Maine (Mom) and from South Dakota (Dad). Perhaps she gets her love of travel from them as she has lived and worked in 14 states and the District of Columbia; and has traveled in 49 states and 16 countries (so far!); not to mention all the counties in Nebraska. She attended high schools in 3 different states, graduating from St. Monica’s HS in Santa Monica, CA; then onto the University of Dallas for a BA in Theology; from Bangor Theological Seminary with an MDiv, and finally the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia with an STM in Lutheran Studies. Besides traveling she enjoys gardening, visiting thrift and antique stores, occasional cooking for a crowd, and reading. The big adventure in 2025 was a 6 week sabbatical which included a 10000+ mile road trip to Alaska. Being a pastor is a great joy and privilege, and the most interesting adventure of them all (so far!)
