EMMAUS: Stewardship Nuts & Bolts for 2022

A Workshop

Workshop Description

Do you or your congregation need a refresher on stewardship best practices? Are you wondering about what to keep in mind related to financial and holistic stewardship in our new more post-pandemic reality? Are you looking at your calendar and realizing fall is here, and now is the time to plan and implement something related to stewardship? Did your congregation make a big push for online giving and direct deposit giving early on during the pandemic, but hasn’t thought much about it since? Are you hoping for some ideas and good conversation with colleagues and other stewardship leaders? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then this is a workshop for you, your congregation, and any congregational leaders interested in stewardship. Over the course of about an hour Deacon Timothy Siburg will offer insights and things to keep in mind, and will also include time towards the end for conversation and questions and answers. Register today! If you have questions, please contact Deacon Timothy.

Bio of Presenter

Deacon Timothy Siburg serves as Nebraska Synod’s Director for Mission, Innovation and Stewardship. He has been a partner in ministry for stewardship in the Nebraska Synod since 2016, and previously served in other leadership and stewardship roles in congregations in Minnesota and Washington, as well as on the staff of the Ecumenical Stewardship Center. In addition to stewardship, he serves as the Nebraska Synod’s Director for Evangelical Mission designate for ELCA churchwide, and is serving as lead on the Nebraska Synod’s Vitality Initiative for Congregations. Timothy loves to be out preaching, leading worship, workshops and discussions and meeting for conversation with all the congregations and disciples of the Nebraska Synod. But if not out and about on a Sunday morning, you’ll likely find him behind the organ or piano at Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, where his wife, Rev. Allison Siburg serves as pastor, or hanging out with their two little girls.
