So often in youth ministry, we lead with programs, confirmation requirements, and busy schedules that often lead to burnout or dashed expectations. What if instead we led with a focus on discipleship and relationships over and above all else? Whether you have a fully staffed youth ministry program, one led primarily by volunteers, or it’s one thing amongst many for a busy pastor, relational discipleship and a culture of mentorship have the potential to transform not just youth ministry in your context, but help to grow the entire congregation as all ages engage in ministry with young people. In this session we will explore new resources, learn about creative approaches to youth ministry across the denomination, and share stories to help inspire one another in this ministry.
