Book Study: Boundless Compassion Creating a Way of Life – EMMAUS, Winter 2023

Program Description

Participate in a seven-week transformation process for developing and deepening compassion by exploring the book Boundless Compassion Creating a Way Of Life by Joyce Rupp.  This book is a practical, no-nonsense challenge to change ourselves and our world by becoming loving, compassionate people.  It is my hope that participants will find the book study to be a memorable prayer experience during their Lenten journey.

  • Our first session will be a meet and greet time along with an introduction to the book study format. Please have your book purchased for this first session.
  • Weeks 2-7 will begin with a meditation followed by discussion in which participants benefit from each other’s insights and experiences.
  • Between weekly sessions, participants will read a 3-4 page meditation each day from the book followed by time for personal reflection.
