Treating Addiction with Dignity & Compassion
Harm Reduction is an approach to drug use that centers the dignity and health of people who use drugs. It meets people where they are at and supports them in keeping themselves as safe, healthy, and connected as possible.
Special guests Michelle Mathis & Erica Poellot will help us understand how the harm reduction approach acknowledges the vulnerabilities of people who are most susceptible to drug related harm and the need to center those same people at the helm of the response.
Join us as we examine the principles of harm reduction and their spiritual impact. Together we will illustrate the gospel of harm reduction, the power of language in shaping liberation, and make connections with other movements for social, racial, and economic justice.
